Good Friday.  After the service I look over at Max and he has his head buried in his hands.  I think he must be tired, or something happened that I didn't notice.  I kneel down next to him and notice he's sobbing into his hands.  I ask him what is wrong and he blurts out, "I am just so sorry for all of my sins!"  It took my breath away.  In that service, for the first time, he truly heard and understood exactly what Jesus had done for him on the cross.  He took the punishment for every sin and it overwhelmed Max.  His eyes were opened and His heart trusted his Savior to be LORD of his life.  I will never forget that moment.  I truly saw God open his eyes and speak to him.  He called him to be His forever and there is nothing more I want for my children!!

The next day was the Easter Festival at church.  I love watching my kids have fun together!

Easter Sunday...

The kids woke up to some Easter Basket goodies.  We went to church to celebrate our risen Savior.  It was, as always, an amazing service.  Then home for our tradition of breakfast burritos and Easter egg hunt with family.  I need to do better at taking pictures of my beautiful family.  My mom, dad, step-mom, sister, brother-in-law and nephew were all there.  What a great day!

We had an exciting meet for Abby this week.  She was chosen for the judges award out of all of the girls in the meet for bars.  She was beaming from ear to ear!!!  She gives her all and I love seeing that hard-working spirit in her!!

I was super blessed this past weekend at our Pantego Bible Church Ladies Retreat!!  Such an amazing time with women who spur me on to be more like Christ and walk with boldness, courage and grace!!  Loved the time being renewed!!

It was also a sweet time to come back to my crew!! It's true...absence (and some time to hear your own thoughts for a while) does make the heart grow fonder! :)

I NEVER play April Fool's jokes. As a matter of fact, I really don't like pranks at all! But, I had an opportunity I just could not pass up on April Fool's Day. What is a girl to do?? I went to the chiropractor and it was determined I needed x-rays. So, I needed to take a pregnancy test before said x-rays. I mean, come on, I took a pregnancy test on April Fools Day...what else was I supposed to do. I took this picture later at a friend's house and the following texts between Matt and I ensued...
 C: Are you sitting down
M: Yes (monkey emoji covering his eyes) What's up?
C: I had to take a pregnancy test at Dr Joe's so I could get X-rays today. (insert picture below)
LONG PAUSE ON HIS PART
M: And????????
C: pretty sure it's positive
M: Whoa Nellie. When would we know for sure (scared looking emoji)
LONG PAUSE ON MY PART
C: APRIL FOOLS!! (lots of hearts) Love you, honey!!
M: aw man
C: are you disappointed?
M: Nah...my heart almost stopped working though!  You got me  (shocked cat face emoji)
M: You stinker

* terrible iphone picture of me...but you had to see it to...this is my attempt to be forlorn, but completely unable to hide my inner giggles.  I have THE WORST poker face!!

Just some iphone pictures this week!

We started off the week visiting the Boyd's at Legacy.  It made me miss them more!!  Loved our morning and afternoon together!!

Sweet Abby donated her own money to our mission trip this summer! She has a heart of gold. And, SIM (our mission sending organization) showed just how awesome they are with a letter thanking her for her obedience in partnering to fulfill the great commission. What a blessing!!

Our beautiful Madison had a swim banquet this week. Just another reminder of how quickly she's growing up. I might burst with love for my sweet girl!!

The Koceich crew has had a pretty good track record for staying healthy...UNTIL THIS YEAR!! Oh my, I hope the rest of 2014 is a breeze. Madison started the fiasco with a very high fever, then Max and finally Sam. Then about a week later Max had a tummy bug, then strep (for the third time in the last six months) and sweet Abby stayed home today with an upset tummy. No more sick days for the K-crew...PLEASE!!! It breaks my mommy heart!
