Guess Who's Back?


Jingle made his way back to the Koceich house the day after Thanksgiving. Since he's been back he's been up to some mischeviousness and sweetness! He has a very well-rounded personality! We love our little elf friend!


* He wanted to make sure, right off the bat, that we kept our focus on the true meaning of Christmas! He suggested we complete family advent devotions each night until Christmas! It has been wonderful keeping our hearts focused on Jesus our Savior!


* He also likes to keep the other Christmas stuffed animals entertained! He loves reading them Christmas stories!


* He also had the kids make their yearly paper countdown chains...I think secretly he just wanted some swinging vines for his nightly mischief!




* All in all I think Jingle has found it pretty comfortable spending his December with the Koceich family! I'm thinkin' we might need to start sleeping with one eye open though...he has that mischevious grin goin' on!

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at our house this year. We were surprised with a visit from Aunt Helen, Matt's aunt who lives in Florida. Aunt Helen had only met Madison, so it was great that she got to meet the rest of the crew.

It was a blessed and yummy day!













Then on Friday we got to enjoy another Thanksgiving meal and lots of fun time with more family!! Blessings abound!

I was so honored to be a part of my beautiful, tender-hearted and precious-to-me big sister's wedding! She chose an awesome guy to be her husband! They stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and were married in front of the Belagio fountains. Viva Las Vegas...

I'm cheating just a little bit because I actually didn't take any personal pictures during this week, but the week after (yes, it's actually December as I'm posting...don't tell anyone) was my sister's wedding in Vegas so I need two posts for that anyway.

Today's post highlights two of our adventures. The top of the Stratosphere (where we stayed) and Cirque de Solei "La Mystere".

Somehow I got the only scaredy cat gene in my family (at least when it comes to heights and roller coasters). I might actually have a nervous breakdown just thinking about it so we're just gonna move on...
















I saw this show about 19 years ago and it was so worth seeing again! I snuck some images during the performance (don't worry...no flash allowed) and some in the gift shop. Super cool costumes, music and amazing talent!!

We're off to see the wizard. (tin man was just not going to happen, and Toto looks a bit like a cat...but we loved our themed costumes this year!)

* beautiful weeds picked especially for mommy from an adorable six-year-old boy who has my heart!


* a 2nd grade program with a certain little girl who loves the limelight and had a speaking part.
