28/52

I didn't take many good camera pictures of our busy week this week.  I'm going to blame it on the heat.  We had triple digits all week this week...yuk!  But, it didn't stop us from having lots of fun.  So, bear with the iPhone pics mixed in.  :)

Saturday:  dinner with some of our favorite friends in the world...and future in-laws. I'm pretty sure Stella and Sam are future hubby and wife.  ;)  Well, at least if I have anything to do with it!

Sunday: no pics, but we did have a great lunch with our bestie's that we never get to see anymore. And, dinner with PawPaw and Mamaw. I think we've blown our eating out budget for the month already, but it's fun to not have to cook!

Monday: Max had Legacy baseball camp again this year. And, again, it was a scorching week! But, he loved it. Soooo mad at myself for not getting out there and getting some pics! We were also elated for Abby to get home from Disney World and Madison from camp. Missed my sweet girls!!!
Tuesday: Again, no pictures, but we did have fun swimming at Tasha's house and now that our live in babysitter (AKA Madison) was home, Matt and I got to sneak off for a date night.

Wednesday: I got to have lunch with my sweet friends from my teaching days. I have so missed them and it was like we hadn't skipped a beat! We had a three hour lunch and I'm sure could have kept talking all afternoon!! It was soooo great to see them and catch up and I realize what a blessing it was to get to work along side of these two precious ladies!! Madison also had a swim party with the Jr. High church group and I had CORPS (a theology class I'm taking) again. I've really missed CORPS! It is great to dig deep in understanding what the bible says about many topics!
Thursday: We were busy beavers today. Max went to his last day of baseball camp, Abby got to help host a tea/craft/swim party and after we got them dropped off we spent the afternoon and early evening working hard to organize the garage. We have had a lot of donations and a lot of things we are purging so I wanted to get it organized before then. Soooo ready to get that garage sale under our belts and have our garage back! It was a HOT day so we probably each lost a couple pounds in sweat! Luckily it was free slurpee day at 7-11, so off we went to cool down and refresh!
Friday: No pictures from today. We went to Hawaiian Falls this morning and will head to Homegroup here in a bit! And, now I know why are summer is flying by!!

27/52

We had a fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa in Granbury last weekend celebrating Grandpa's birthday!

** I love that my kids can find creative ways to have fun! Here they are "painting" the fence with water.
* Abby left on Monday for a trip to Disney World with Nani!! So happy they get to make such special memories with their Nani! I know they will always cherish these times one on one with her!
* Madison left on Thursday for Camp Freedom with the church Junior High and High School! She was blessed with an awesome sponsor...Shelby, our Jr. High intern! I know God is doing amazing things in these girl's lives this week!!!

*And then there were two...
* Since the girls were gone, we invited Max's friend, Kollin, over for a boy's play date. I love how Sam looks up to these boys and wants to do whatever they are doing!
* We celebrated 4th of July with PawPaw and Mamaw.
...I usually some 4th of July themed food, but this chocolate cake was calling my name, so we had to improvise!

...Max looks so fly in his shades!!

...Sam thinks everything should be a "shooter"

...He doesn't quite have the strength to get the ball to the basket, but he certainly has the determination!

...best buds!

...it makes me nervous that when he has fear it seems to fuel his excitement level...he was on a high holding the sparklers!

...M is for Max

...S is for Sam (well sort of)

26/52

Wow...we're halfway through the year! Summer is in full swing and June dashed through the finish line in record time!! OH MY!!!!

* We had the awesome storm system roll in.  It was sunny outside, then within minutes these clouds blanketed the sky...beautiful!!

* Our latest fad is pretending to be superfrog. He brings me one of his two frog towels at least 10 times a day to put on his head and runs off to save the day as superfrog!

* Saturday morning Abby, our entrepreneur, had the great idea to have a lemonade stand. She was soon busy making cookies, lemonade and signs and enlisting her siblings to help. It was so cute to see their personalities come out through the project. Abby was quickly decided entertainment was needed and brought her keyboard out to serenade the guests, Max was the greeter/customer service and waved and grinned at every car that drove by, Madison, my thinker, made stats about how many cars drove by vs. how many cars stopped, and averaged how much money there were making an hour. They made $29 in three hours and spent their money at the movies watching Monster's University that night!! So proud of my hard working kiddos!

* We had a super moon this month. Apparently it appeared 15% larger than usual because of the tilt of the earth or something scientific like that! :) I don't own any zoom lenses so I couldn't get the best picture...but it was beautiful!

* Since both Madison and Abby were gone for Father's Day we celebrated a week later. The girls made Matt some brownies with peanut butter frosting...yum! They also put on play that was a parody of his summer school job...it was pretty funny.

* Abby was invited to a tea party by our friend Jenna. The girls had so much fun at a proper tea party. They even made a craft and got to go swimming!! All of this is Abby's love language!! She was giddy!

* My niece, Casey, came over this week to give the girls and I haircuts. Abby LOVES babies and had so much fun playing with baby Harleigh! She as the touch too. She was getting fussy so Abby held her, gave her a bottle and she fell right to sleep in Abby's arms!
